Going to Caen, we decided to stop and check out another tourist place called Dieppe. This is where i got the fries (at the seawall). I do not have to explain much the photo says it all. It is the worsiest fries I have ever had in my life. Looks soggy as it is cooked in an old oil plus the fries was so greasy (what can you expect). This one cost 3eu.

What's in my Make Up Bag?
The week is over and I am finished with work, hurrah!
So, Me and Hubby will be going away for a short trip this coming Sunday. This trip was not in our plan but since we are both free from work next week, we decided to go and visit Normandy. I already began in packing my things and I thought of sharing what I got in my make up bag. These are the essential products I take with me when we go out for holiday or for a short trip.
If you want to know them, please watch the video.

My Canal Gay Parade Experience in Amsterdam
What is your stand about the homosexuals in our community? Are you open with it or are you against it? Since I grew up in a Catholic country, homosexuals such as gays, lesbians, transgender and bisexual are not accepted until now. They were looked down and discriminated by our fellow countrymen. But in the Netherlands, Amsterdam is among the first cities with an extensive and open gay scene. It is famous for its tolerant and open atmosphere.
I had the opportunity to witness with my own eyes the biggest event of the homosexuals in the Netherlands. The Gay Pride is celebrated every last week of July and the first week of August since 1996. The said parade was joined by 80 boats of different gay and lesbian organizations including the locals of Amsterdam.
Here are some of the highlights of the Canal Parade in Amsterdam.
Pink is the color of the day :)
It was a heart warming event for me because I can feel that they are calling for equality so they can live as normal people like every one else. #equality #youareyou

| photos 2009 & 2011 visit |
Last weekend husband got a long distance call from Mum who is my mother-in-law. She is planning to visit us again and asking us what are the possible dates that she can come over to spent holiday with us. It is not yet definite to when but I can't wait to see her again. It has been over two years since her last visit last May of 2011. Actually, it would be better to have her on December for Christmas time so we can show her around the Christmas markets in Germany and Belgium or even Paris! So, fingers crossed.

The Voice in the Philippines
I was totally surprised when Kris Aquino announced that Philippines will soon air The Voice which is very famous and first originated here in the Netherlands. Yes, it started all here with famous dutch singers as judges. Then it aired in Great Britain with Jessie J as one of the judges. Now, finally the Voice in the Philippines with Lea Salonga and Sarah Geronimo plus two other judges. Can not wait to watch the program.
